Visual Literacy Presentation—Chris McCall, photography and video teacher at The Urban School of San Francisco. 
Chris actively teaches visual literacy using elements from the New Mexico Media Literacy Project (NMMLP) plus his own creative principles and approaches.

10:15-11:00: CE-MARC Cataloging presentation: Tom Adamich and Lorraine Knight
     Tom Adamich is a certified teacher-librarian, consultant for the Indian Valley Local Schools (Ohio), and president of the Visiting Librarian Service, a contract librarian firm he has operated on a full or part-time basis since 1993. Currently, Tom also serves as the Cataloging Librarian at Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He has been involved in K-12 cataloging research and its connection to critical thinking skill development and standards-based education since 1998.
     Lorraine Knight, B.A., B.Ed., M.A., a teacher-librarian, established Library Conversions Limited Company in 1993 when she also attended the National Curriculum-Enhanced MARC Conference in Bowling Green Ohio.  Since then, she has supervised the conversion of over 300 school libraries and developed the cataloging standard, marc4media, a means of describing the content of educational DVD and video collections to highlight their links to state standards and learning objectives. At present her company catalogs for over 30 leading educational video providers including WGBH, Boston, Annenberg Media and Disney Educational.
